Homecoming Honolulu

TGIF! And as a double bonus to the start of the weekend, tomorrow is the 4th of July! I can't wait!

Today I'm excited to share with you I local store I found called Homecoming Honolulu. It's full of fun clothing that's completely affordable. My shorts and sliders are both scores I made while I was there.

If you're not local, but you'd like to shop their store, you can do so here. Have a great weekend!

The Barge Has Arrived

Today is a good day because all of my belongings that were shipped on the barge are being delivered to my house any moment.  I'm very excited to have more wardrobe options!

For the past two weeks, my wardrobe has been extremely casual and simple. And it hasn't been a bad thing, just different than what I'm typically used to.

Today's look is a prime example of how simple I've been. Top, skirt, sneaks, and a bag. At least this hi-lo tank top gives it a little extra flair. What do you think?

Mystical Mint

As you are reading this, I am flying to paradise. Naturally, I decided I might as well have a new hair color to go with my new life. Mint hair it is! Aloha!

Going Postal

I stopped at the post office today to grab a change of address form, and shortly after I get several pictures from my husband of Waikiki beach. I'm freaking out over here! Why does it feel worse than waiting for Christmas?! TGIF!!

Falling Into Place

Hi lovelies! I'm excited to give you the 411 on my move status! My husband landed in Oahu on Tuesday night and has quickly settled in. He got our girls registered for school yesterday and found us a place to live. We will only have to walk 10 minutes to be in downtown Honolulu. Way to go husband, huh?! Just over there taking care of business!

Thank you to my family and friends who have been praying for me! This has been such a smooth transition, and everything is really falling into place. Can't wait to start posting when I get there!

Bondi Sands

When it comes to tanned skin, I put people into 2 categories. The first category of people are the rule followers, meaning they apply their sunscreen and will continue to reapply as needed, making sure they are safe in the sun. The second category are those that tend to not care all that much. They might use a little SPF from time to time so that they aren't frowned upon, but they aren't really sweatin' it to much if you know what I mean. I tend to be the second category. Judge me if you wish!

Wherever you may land, I still feel that most people have a common goal in the summer months. We all want a beautiful glow! So whether that means you need to start from scratch or enhance the tan you already have, I have discovered a fabulous self tanning lotion called bondi sands. It doesn't leave the typical scent on your skin that most lotions like this do, and it applies smooth and even.

If you want before/after photo proof, you can check our their Instagram page here. Go check it out and get yourself some! You'll be happy you listened!

Yacht Club

This last weekend, my husband and I took a quick trip north of the border, to say our final goodbyes to his family before we fly away. It was especially fun because it also doubled as our last weekend getaway for just us as a couple...you know...with no kids!

On Saturday night we hopped on a party yacht for a friend's 30th birthday. The 3 hour cruise took us all around English Bay, giving us just enough time to stuff our faces with some cake and bust out our best dance moves.

I'm going to deeply miss my brother and sister-in-law, but I can hardly wait for them to come visit us on the island!!
