Going Postal

I stopped at the post office today to grab a change of address form, and shortly after I get several pictures from my husband of Waikiki beach. I'm freaking out over here! Why does it feel worse than waiting for Christmas?! TGIF!!

Bondi Sands

When it comes to tanned skin, I put people into 2 categories. The first category of people are the rule followers, meaning they apply their sunscreen and will continue to reapply as needed, making sure they are safe in the sun. The second category are those that tend to not care all that much. They might use a little SPF from time to time so that they aren't frowned upon, but they aren't really sweatin' it to much if you know what I mean. I tend to be the second category. Judge me if you wish!

Wherever you may land, I still feel that most people have a common goal in the summer months. We all want a beautiful glow! So whether that means you need to start from scratch or enhance the tan you already have, I have discovered a fabulous self tanning lotion called bondi sands. It doesn't leave the typical scent on your skin that most lotions like this do, and it applies smooth and even.

Mani Monday | Party At The Palace

Happy Monday! Today's mani inspo is sure to bring out the Disney princess in you!

Morgan Taylor did a fabulous polish collection for Disney's new Cinderella film. My girls' eyes widened with excitement over all the colors when we first saw them in the store. With so many fab shades to choose from, we opted to get the mini set, so we could have samples of our favorite colors. Although each of these shade are beautiful, I have to say Party At The Palace is my fav! What do you think?

Periwinkle Please

So I know that I was blonde for about 5 min (6 weeks if you want to be technical), but it was always my plan to color my hair a fun new hue. I just figured that since it was such a process to bleach out my brown mane, that I would rock the blonde for a bit.

Periwinkle is one of the few shades that my hair has yet to be, and I think that it's gorgeous! If you get a chance to see me in person, it really is the perfect combo of baby blue and lavender. I think I'll keep this one for awhile ;) Like it?

Not Foolin'

I've been having a major urge to cut my hair lately, and finally I could take it no longer! Being that I agreed to be a model for Charbon Salon in the Fashion SOULstice show, I knew that I had to wait until that was over. Lucky for me, Chloe, my friend and stylist at Charbon, had a spot for me the next day.

She had her work cut out for her since I left my backcombed 'fro, leftover from the show, for her to detangle. Once my locks were freed, she gave me one fly haircut. I'm super picky about my hair and I couldn't be happier with it!

Fratelli

Greetings from Canada! It's been so long since my last post. Between moving, working, and getting ready for Christmas, I've barely been able to sit for 5 minutes.  

 

I traveled up Vancouver, B.C. with my family, to spend Christmas with my in-laws. It's been a perfect getaway from the hecticness of everyday life. Plus there's the added bonus that my sister-in-law is a fabulous cook!

Today we headed to Commercial St. per my request, for pastries from my favorite Italian bakery in Vancouver, Fratelli. Although Vancouver shares the similar gloom and drizzle of Seattle, my emotions were soaring high with all my treats.
