Older and Wiser

The freezing air in NYC was not messing around. My favorite part was when the wind would pick up. I hope you can hear the sarcasm seeping out of my lips. But thank goodness to my impeccable judgment ( I am older and wiser now ), I packed lots of layers to keep the frigid air out. I had a large coat and mittens on also, though they are not pictured here. After all, how would you see what I was wearing if I had a big coat covering it up? Unfortunately a ski mask did not go with my outfit, or my face would have been warm too!

Casual Friday

TGIF. You have no idea. I'm looking forward to a chill weekend and catching up on everything I've gotten behind on this week such as laundry...and the rest of my life.

As far as my look goes, I'm ultra comfortable and casual. I'm even wearing some over-the-knee socks under my skirt to keep my legs extra cozy. My boots are not only adorable but practical. They are weather proof, which comes in handy with the little rain outbursts we've been having!

Have a great weekend everyone!

Chill

I can't believe it's 2015! I'm still adjusting to it. Maybe it's my old age, but thank goodness for an extra long weekend to get used to it!

As I shared in my previous post, my baby took me to Leavenworth to celebrate the new year/our anniversary. Our fun and relaxed evening was followed by an equally leisure day. We enjoyed coffee, a bit of shopping, and then took a brief pitstop at Icicle Brewing Co. Although I'm personally not a fan of beer, I did enjoy a buttery pretzel with cheese with my guy.

Before we hit the road to head back home, we had just a bit of fun in the snow. After all, it's the first snow we've experienced this season. As beautiful as it was, I think I got my fill for the year.
