A Gift To Me

This year is flying by! It's crazy to think that it's already been 2 months since my birthday ( perhaps because every day I want it to be my birthday?! J/k...but really...)!!

If your an Express card holder, then you know in the month of your birthday they send you a gift card to use in their store toward a purchase. Well I for sure am not going to turn down a gift!  So I marched right in there to hunt for a new goody and walked out with this  fun little dress. It's so comfy! Plus I love that it's mini and has tiny little sequins all over it! What do you think?

Flirt

I love this top I'm wearing. The color, the ruffles, the fabric...it screams spring! With a top so flirty, I wanted to give it a supporting cast by wearing glitter polish, fancy bracelets, and sweet mint stilettos. As far as my hair is concerned, I let my natural wave take over. I kinda feel like the Queen Bey! Like it?

Now go get your flirt on ;-)

Electric Easter

Happy Easter everyone! Jesus is alive!! After a fabulous church service, I'm off the spend the day with my family. It's handy that I chose to wear the outfit I did. My heels are a perfect distraction to make my girls' Easter egg hunt that much more difficult! I mean what's the fun in an egg hunt without a little challenge ;)

Schizo Spring

I don't know how the weather is in your region, but where I live, it can't seem to make up its mind. One day I'm breaking out my shorts, and the next I need a sweater. This can be tricky when you are so badly yearning to put your winter wardrobe away for good. But all you need to do is a little mixing until you get the thumbs up for summer weather.

Desperately wanting to pull out a spring skirt, but too chilled to bare my whole leg, I wore some over the knee boots. This is a perfect combo for breaking away from a heavy winter look and easing into something more light for spring! What do you think?

A Walk In The Park

With this glorious spring weather around me, I've been trying to take advantage of it by getting outside more. There's a beautiful park near my place that's perfect for walks.

Here, I went really comfy with my look by wearing relaxed fitting separates and throwing on some combat boots. What do you think?

[ Nail File: ] Turquoise & Caicos

turquoise & caicos by essie

Just a short bit ago, dré posted about the mint craze. I am definitely on board, but wanted to try something that was a notch up in the mint department to suite my complexion. From the same line, I'm wearing turquoise & caicos, and it looks great with my skin tone. Of course, I took the liberty of adding a little sparkle n' shine with OPI's Pirouette My Whistle.

Whether you're light and sweet or rich and turquoise, I think you'll agree with me when I say: I'd rather be in Caicos!

W Magazine, March 2013 - Spring Fashion In Full Bloom - Natalia Vodianova

"We live only through our dreams and our imagination. If it is not there in fashion, fantasize it. Fashion must be the most intoxicating release from the banality of the world."
-Diana Vreeland

W Editor in Chief, Stefano Tonchi, used Diana Vreeland's words as inspiration for this East Meets West fashion cover. With intoxicatingly brilliant colors and an enticing yet demure Natalia-- there's no doubt the words were wise and the imagination is bright. Check out the March issue and the complete fashion decode here.
