Big Brown Eyes

My brown eyes are unmistakable. In fact, all of my features are-- bold brows...check; bold eyes...check; bold lips...check! Still, of all my facial features, my eyes and my smile are the two that I've been told make the biggest impression. Would you agree? Here, I'm playing both of them up (yes, both!) and wanted to share with you for a little weekend inspiration.

EOTD

Happy 8th day, Everyone! If you're like me, there are two things you don't leave the house without applying: mascara and lip balm. For this look, I built off of my go-to mascara by adding eyeliner. My mom always used liquid eyeliner, so it has also become my liner of choice.

I experimented with the popular winged liner by extending the liner on the bottom lid to a thinner line underneath the main wing. I've been stalking Instagram accounts where makeup artists such as the talented @makeupby_melissa post their EOTD (eye of the day). What do you think of the winged liner? This trend is definitely going to stick around for awhile!

MOTD

The snow is coming...

Pity. It's no longer the 68 degrees that I enjoyed yesterday (no coat! say what?!). For my makeup of the day, I kept it soft and accented my cheeks. If it was warmer I might've been inspired to add a pop of color. I'm happy about the final product. What do you think?
