Silky Smooth

With summer upon us, more skin is exposed. Shorts, skirts, tanks, bikinis...you get the picture. Nothing is worse than rough, dry, stubbly skin, especially when it's exposed! Fear not lovlies! I've found the perfect duo for silky smooth skin!!

First, you will need this sugar scrub by Tree Hut. This is the BEST exfoliator that I have ever come across! While in the shower, scoop the scrub up with your fingers as needed, and rub in circular motions over your entire body. Once you're exfoliated and rinsed off, you're skin will be primed to be shaved.

There is a new shave cream I found by Skintimate that is a lotion shave cream, rather than a foam or gel. After using this for the first time, I will never go back to traditional shave cream again! If you use this for shaving after you have exfoliated, your skin will be irresistible! Promise!!

Now, all you budget babes, listen up! Would you believe me if I told you I found the sugar scrub at Albertsons of all places?! It's true! Not only is it the best scrub I've found, but it's beyond affordable too. And I hope it goes without saying, that the shave cream is far from draining one's wallet.

So what are you waiting for? I beg you to go give this a try and tell me what you think! I'll go ahead and say 'You're welcome!' in advance ;-)

DIY Facial Scrub

I have discovered a DIY facial scrub that will leave your skin feeling like a baby's butt! It claims to be a blackhead removing scrub. Although I don't have a blackhead problem, my pores definitely get clogged at times.  After one try, I was hooked!

What you'll need:
1/2 Tbs | honey
1/2 tsp. | baking soda
1/2 tsp. | salt

Mix all three ingredients together in a small bowl. Apply to clean damp skin. Massage in a circular motion to exfoliate skin and then let it sit on your face as a mask for 5 min. When the time is up, dampen your hands with warm water, and lightly massage again as you rinse it off. Pat skin dry, and apply organic extra virgin coconut oil as a moisturizer.

Voilà! You're on your way to silky smooth skin!
