Speak Life

Last week I was blessed to have a few women pour into my life. Although my days were laced with peculiar events and emotions, it was because these women spoke life over me that I was able to keep my focus where it needed to be.

One of those women followed up with a gift––the necklace and earring set I'm wearing here. Among her encouraging sentiments, she told me to remember my creativity, and to wear it whenever I needed reminding that I'm special.

It meant the world to me that these women took the time to speak life over me, particularly at the time I needed it most.

Who can you speak positive words of encouragement, gratitude, and life over today?

Joie de Vivre

bracelet | 3 Sisters

One of my favorite boutiques in Alexandria, VA is 3 Sisters in Old Town. It was there that I discovered the French secret to the joy of living. And now, whenever I wear this bracelet, I'll never forget! The blue tones are light, allowing versatility through my wardrobe. So, what brings joie to your life?

Collar-rama

I've had this necklace for 8 months and have only wore it once or twice.
There are a few different ways to wear collar necklaces, and two of my favs are button up blouses (truly love the look, but barely wear because I seldom wear button up tops) and open chest (without a backdrop, the necklace will really have that focus).

What's your favorite way to wear this statement piece?

[ Summer Evenings ]

Summer's winding down-- at least for me. Trying to enjoy being outside as much as possible before fall soirée season roars in. I think I'll take a day trip tomorrow-- hmm, where should I go..
