Leather is so hot this fall! That's why I was swooning over this dress when I saw it! While the leather gives it edge, the lace gives it the perfect feminine touch. I styled it with a bomber jacket and boots to really keep it toward the edgy side. Do you like it?

Outside The [ Box ]

When it comes to art, I love a challenge. Trying something I don't normally do, to push myself in new ways, seeing what I'm capable of. So when I was asked to help this young lady, who is just starting her senior year, to change her look, I was up for the challenge!

Some may not know this, but the salon I work at is a specialty salon. This means that everyone specializes in one particular thing. Mine is design, which is only cutting and styling. I do not touch hair color. I was however, raised by a mother, who is a color champ, so I do have an eye for it! 

Although I'm not as confident in this area of hair, I decided go outside the box of my comfort zone, and  get her as blonde as she requested! She was happy with the results, and I was too! What do you think of her new look?

She's Got The Touch

This goes out to all my fake blondes out there. Yeah, you know who you are! Golden Rapunzel hair that sparkles in the sun as it glides over your bronzed summer complexion...it all seems like bliss until it happens! And it is that pesky dark grow out!

Quiet as she may seem, this girl is packed with talent and part of the Gene Juarez Artistic Team. Quite frankly, I think she's taking over Seattle, as it's near impossible to get an appointment with her unless you book seriously in advance!

Love is in the air

I don't know about you, but I love the day of LOVE! All the red and pink you see everywhere you look, PLUS flowers AND chocolate...what's not to love??

Wanting to be festive for any occasion I can, Valentine's Day is definitely an opportunity I choose to spruce things up! Below is my polish choice for this day of romance,JAG-U-ARE, by Essie. I've also photographed the hot little number I'm hoping to turn my husband's head in by Free People.

And of course I have to keep you all updated on the hair I'm wearing! Although it was a blast, I was getting a bit bored with my purple ombré, so I decided to switch it up. They say blondes have more fun. I guess I shall find out tonight;-)
