I have a bit of a knack for sleuthing and de[CODE]ing, so I thought it suitable to bring out my inner P.I.! I'm really digging the pink 'fro look, and it was fun to wear out later for a sensible dinner ;)

Sweet Tooth

It's a known fact by now, that my hair is indeed pink. Though I don't plan on keeping it this way for long, I do plan on tapping into my creativity while I have it.

The inspiration for these photos come from my love of sweets. Anyone that knows me, knows that I'm a fiend for cotton candy! How lucky am I, that I get to have the sugar-spun treat on my head?!

I recently bought a new fragrance, and was pleasantly surprised when I went up to the counter to purchase it, and they handed me this neon tote, as a gift with purchase! I'd say it's pretty cute for free! I styled it with a white dress and gold accents so each piece I'm wearing can stand out. Do you like it?

Kris Owens Fundraiser Benefit Fashion + Art Showcase

The time has come for me to walk! Though I walked in 3 shows just earlier this year for the UNCF fashion show, it feels like it's been far too long for me to hit the runway!

I'll be honest. I love the craziness, the hectic schedule, the artistic vibe surging through the room between hairstylists, makeup artists, and designers. And I can't fail to mention, I LOVE playing dress up!

So what could make this whole experience better than what it already is, then to make it benefit someone that's so deserving? Cover Story - { Jan13 }

W. is for Winner

She's a winner. Jessica Chastain's role in Zero Dark Thirty, a film directed by Kathyrn Bigelow about the decade long search for Osama Bin Laden, captured the attention of many in the film biz. If you've been following award season, then you know Critic's Choice and Golden Globes were very kind to Ms. Chastain awarding her with Best Actress in a category with very strong competition. Fortunately for her, the accolades don't stop there as she's been nominated in three more ceremonies-- all while her new horror flick Mama surpasses ZDT in the box office.

For this month's cover of W. Magazine, Jessica muses in the literal portrayal of when art and fashion meet. It must have been a blast to work creatively with these different artists. After wrapping two box office hits, it's probably just what she needed.
