Who Wore It Better

I love looking through gossip magazines. One part in particular that I always find enjoyable to browse over is "Who wore it better". So, I thought it would be fun to take a journey through the archives of a few of my many hairstyles, and compare it to the celebrities who have made statements with the same 'do.

Ellen Degeneres | the crop

Heidi Klum | blonde glamour waves

Lady Gaga | platinum blonde with heavy bangs

Veruschka | long braid

Sarah Jessica Parker | subtle ombre

Katy Perry | purple waves

Blake Lively | tousled blonde

Nicole Richie | pretty in pink

Snooki | red violet siren

Jessica Alba | long bob

Isn't it crazy how different I look with each look?! Which one is your fave? I'd love to hear your feedback in the comments!

It's Been Fun....

My days rocking pink hair are reaching their end. Though it didn't last long, it's been sweet, wild, and glam all the way!

Enjoy one final look at my bubble gum locks! I chose a royal blue dress; its color is not only hot this season, but I found it to contrast beautifully against my hair. Though the under layer of the dress is blue opposed to nude, both the color and the lace overlay, remind me of the Goldie dress I wore during Vancouver Fashion Week. My knee high boots wrap it together perfectly, for an ideal fall look.

Can you guess what color my hair will be next??

Vintage Glamour

Sometimes I wish I could travel back in time, where pin curls, pearls, and fabulousness was part of every day life, for every woman. Since I can't, I thought it fun to bring the era to me! Enjoy!

Pink Panther

Okay! As promised, here is another creative shoot

I have a bit of a knack for sleuthing and de[CODE]ing, so I thought it suitable to bring out my inner P.I.! I'm really digging the pink 'fro look, and it was fun to wear out later for a sensible dinner ;)

Sweet Tooth

It's a known fact by now, that my hair is indeed pink. Though I don't plan on keeping it this way for long, I do plan on tapping into my creativity while I have it.

The inspiration for these photos come from my love of sweets. Anyone that knows me, knows that I'm a fiend for cotton candy! How lucky am I, that I get to have the sugar-spun treat on my head?!

I hope you enjoy these photos! Stay tuned for my next series of posts, and follow my pink haired adventure!

I Am Hopeful

The I Am Hopeful fashion show, put on by Gene Juarez, to benefit the Hope Heart Institute was a huge success! With over 500 guests in attendance, and hundreds of stylists from the salon pulling together, the Seattle community was definitely feeling the love last night! I'm so proud and honored to be part of such an amazing company!

Sean Paul Stroupe and Ruben Manzo tag teamed my hair, to give it a "resort" look for the show.

Below is the storyboard of inspiration for the Vibrant collection I walked in.

The Vibrant collection was wardrobed by The Finery.

I made sure I was able to snap a quick photo with Gene Juarez before I left the building ;)

Roses Are Red, Violets Are Blue, My Hair Is PINK!

Well! The time has come for me to have a change with my hair again! As much as I loved having my blonde hair, I was over it. My ambition was to go darker with it again....and it still is...but I made a pit stop along the way!

While I was in Vancouver for fashion week, I got a couple emails from my coworkers, begging me to let them color my hair pink. It's for a good cause. Good cause? Then I guess I'm in!

Gene Juarez Salon and Spas are presenting a runway show this Thursday at 7pm at the Experience Music Project, called I Am Hopeful. The ticket proceeds are benefiting the Hope Heart Institute, as more women die each year from heart disease in America, then all cancers combined.

Come show your support and see me rock the runway this Thursday! Ticket details can be found at http://www.genejuarez.com/style.aspx.
