I've had a stir in me lately, to let my creativity and art flow. I wanted to capture a vintage feeling in the photos I took. Notice, the headpiece that is worn in some of the photos, is the same one that I made for the Black Swan photo shoot I did. Please enjoy my 1920's inspired shoot!

Vintage Glamour
Sometimes I wish I could travel back in time, where pin curls, pearls, and fabulousness was part of every day life, for every woman. Since I can't, I thought it fun to bring the era to me! Enjoy!

Global Warming | Tropical Storm
Sometimes the blend of the globe warming and a tropical storm approaching gives way to 90 degree days in October. You bet your bottom dollar that I took advantage!
My niece became fascinated with my Red My Fortune Cookie manicure and helped herself into the photo. I think she made the shot.

[ Polka dot ]
Leave it to polka dots to put me in a good mood! This dress is flirty and fun, and I love the way it moves! To add to the excitement, I'm wearing some vintage 1970's heels my aunt gave me, that she wore back in the day! What do you think?

Bridal Waves
We are right in the middle of wedding season and this means I'm doing brides and bridesmaids hair left and right!
Below is a beautiful bride I styled today. Her dress has a vintage feel to it and she wanted her hair down, so this is how I styled her. She was absolutely in love with it! What do you think?

From Victoria To Victorian
A couple weeks ago I took a trip with my family to Victoria, B.C., to visit my husband's family. His family is rich with heritage, as he has a Polish grandfather and a Scottish grandmother. I always enjoy our visits with them, and leave feeling like I got a better history lesson than I ever received in school.
On this particular visit however, I received an item that is truly a treasure to me. My husband's grandmother handed down to me a vintage necklace that has been in the family for decades, dating back to the 1840's . It's a gorgeous Victorian style necklace made of gold, that has a removable pendant hanging from it, which is deep emerald on one side, and blood red on the other. The chain resembles a rope, and with its extreme length, can be worn a variety of ways.
Words cannot describe how blessed I feel to own this heirloom, and I look forward to the day I can pass it down to my little princesses!
