I began and ended January the same way-- brunch! In fact, at the same restaurant...wearing the same hat. Who knew this look would be my January staple!

As you know, today is Super Bowl XLIX! With all the excitement over our home football team-- the reigning NFC Champion Seattle Seahawks-- returning to defend their title, we were quite inspired to show our 12th man spirit! Hustle Like Russell: SEAvsWAS

Soooo, I feel really bad/excited/blessed that I have the opportunity to go see the Hawks play against Washington tonight for Monday Night Football. "Bad" because I know my dad, sister, and several of you 12s back in WA would love to be here. "Excited" because it's my first NFL game! And, "blessed" because my friend (fellow UW alumni and 12) is treating me! I didn't have time to make a sign, but I did get creative and make this shirt.

I'm not sure exactly where or when I heard the phrase "Hustle like Russell", but I think it was during a conversation with my sister. It's so true that Russell Wilson is a hustler on the field, so it stuck with me. Although I'll be bundled up for tonight's temperature drop, just know I've got the home team represented underneath my layers!

Ay! I'm torn! Tonight my fav team New Orleans Saints plays against the home team Seattle Seahawks. Who Dat Nation v 12th Man. Cool Brees v Hustle Like Russell.

So, who do you think I should root for tonight? Is it home-team or bust? Or, should I cheer on the black and gold?

Catch the two leading powerhouses faceoff tonight at 8:40P EST. Honestly I just want a great game, no injuries, and #12 Colston to get a TD!
