Olive

Each fall I find myself gravitating toward olive green. So when I found these high-waisted pants at Zara in August, I knew they needed to be purchased for my fall wardrobe.

It's finally cooled down enough that I could wear them. It may be a bit before I can wear them again though, because  It's supposed to be in the 80's over the next few days again. This makes my heart happy!

Hollywood

Last Friday I left home at 3:30am, and journeyed 22 hours via car to LA. Although I was running on very little sleep, I was not about to miss a moment of my California adventure!

My first stop was Hollywood Blvd. to see the sights and do a little shopping. For my look, I went a little sexy, a little casual, and a little rock'n'roll. Not only did I score on some shopping finds, but I also came across one of my favorite celebrity's star! What do you think of my look?

π = 3.14

Happy π Day, Everyone!

Although my OOTD isn't all that irrational (unless you consider having legs for days. wink, wink.), I still thought it would be fun to shout out this "holiday". How are you celebrating Pi Day?

Just remember, you can have fun today, but....

To find out more about "Pi Day", or just get a good laugh, read The Wheelhouse article here!

Have an irrational day!

Ice Queen

Winter is in full swing this week. With highs in the low 20s if I'm lucky, my best option is to bundle and hope it passes quickly. In attempt to have some fun with these frigid temps, I decided to camouflage myself with the ice and snow. And since my lips are blue anyway, why not amp them up with No She Didn't by Limecrime?!

First Snow

Where I live, we have cold winters. Not Chicago cold, but still. Snow is not a stranger, and growing up, my cousin and I would always be delighted to have fresh snow for her November birthday. So far this winter, we've had nada!

Last month I had my mother/personal stylist, put me on her calendar for January 8th to do my color. How fun is it that on the morning of the 8th that I got to wake up to snow?! It goes perfectly with my new hair color and red lips, don't you think? Plus I got to have fun putting my Hunters to their waterproof test!

Big Wheel

Seattle is a place where hidden gems are tucked away throughout the city. We discovered (and rediscovered) a few. Goat cheese truffles at Clever Bottle, beet salad at Sazerac, frittatas at Cafe Soleil, and bright lights of the Big Wheel on the pier.

What are your favorite gems of the city?

Passionately

I'm obsessed with changing my look! You only get one life to live, so why not make it an exciting and thrilling one?! I personally can't understand why a girl would never want more than a "trim", or never change her color. That is the opposite of me!

At the start of the year I had a purple ombré. It was definitely a fun look, but as usual, I became bored, and decided I needed to be blonde. Well, my blonde had run its course, and I was ready to deepen my color once again. I took a brief pit stop at pink because of my charitable spirit, but I had my heart set on one particular shade. Red violet. It is the only color I have not tried ( besides, green or yellow...but let's not get crazy! ).

I'm absolutely loving this new hue on me! I feel like a new woman. More daring. More passionate.
