Mani Monday | Baila Baila

Tis the season for high school graduations and what better way to celebrate than with confetti! Sinful Colors' Street Fusion: Latin Heat collection has three glitter, or Piñata Blast, colors including the one I'm wearing pictured above. For this look, I wore the confetti color on its own. Next time, I will put it over a solid color to add a little depth and contrast.

Although my high school graduation was over 10 years ago, I coordinated one today and marveled at the accomplishment of the students. In a way, I guess that's how my family felt during my own ceremony. Throughout life, we devote ourselves towards achieving certain milestones and once we do, we look to strive towards the next. Today, whether you've just graduated from high school, university, or reached any other major milestone, I encourage you to bask in the result of your hard work and resilience. Take more than a moment to both "practice being grateful," as stated by today's HS principal, toss up some confetti and dance!

Congratulations Class of 2015!

Mani Monday | All Sparkly And Gold by OPI

Hey code keepers! Clearly I haven't stopped celebrating my bday because I'm wearing the glitter polish that dré gave me for my bday. Look how sparkly and fun it is, how could I not!?

This is one of my all time favorite gold glitter polishes. It went on smoothly, has nice even specs, and of course compliments my skin tone perfect. (Good job, drésky!) I just love OPI's All Sparkly and Gold!

What I also love is OPI's Glitter Off polish. Without it, I would think twice about applying a glitter polish. That's because I'd be too occupied thinking about all the time it's going to take to get off. Needless to say, it's a must and if you haven't tried it yet...get on it, sister! (Note: Don't let it get too dry before you apply your glitter polish-- it won't work!)

Remember to check back, right here, every Monday for your manicure inspiration!

Glitter Off

There's one thing every woman knows, who has ever polished her nails with glitter; it's near impossible to get off! It's a love/hate really. One moment I'm feeling all sparkly and fancy, and the next I'm angry and sweating from trying to get the darn stuff off!

Well, let me tell you. OPI has come out with a fantastic polish called Glitter Off. You apply one thin coat to clean nails and let it dry completely. Next, you apply your favorite glitter polish. When you are done wearing the polish, no need to sweat! Just push the edge of it and peel it off.

It seemed to good to be true, so I thought I would try it out. My concern was that with such easy removal, it only made sense that the polish would just come right off before I was ready to take it off. I was relieved to find out that's not the case. I polished my nails with a glitter polish on Friday, and made it all the way until Tuesday, at which point I was ready to change, so I peeled it off. How great is that?!

So now that the secret is out, what are you waiting for??
