The Taste of Spring

I really like pastel colors. They are great to wear year round, but since it's spring, let's talk about how excited I am to wear them in warmer weather!

These mint J Brand pants are ridiculously soft to the touch. Not to mention, they make my mind wander to the good stuff like Easter eggs and mint ice cream. Yay spring!!

Fashion SOULstice

Last month I was asked by the owners of Charbon Salon to be one of their models for Fashion SOULstice. 'No' wasn't even an option for me.

Fashion SOULstice is a charity event in which the proceeds go to benefit the victims of human trafficking. Not only was I excited to give my time to help this cause, but as a bonus, I knew I was going to be styled by some of the best artists I've ever worked with! So basically, pretty hair + runway show + good cause = no brainer!

The collection that Charbon put together was bohemian/gypsy/free spirit. The hair was full of lots of texture and braids and our wardrobe was styled by Feather and Skull.

Feather and Skull is a Seattle jewelry designer that also refurbishes clothing and boots. I loved the shorts I wore so much that I bought them from her after the show.

Here, the models are pictured with Noel, the designer behind Feather and Skull.

Pictured above, Melissa, a colorist at Charbon, is putting some finishing touches on one of the models. Below, Chloe, a Charbon stylist, is prepping her model's hair for braids.

Rayna, stylist at Charbon, is backcombing my hair to get it nice and full and wild!

The show was sold out and a great success! Thanks for checking it out!

Mani Monday | Lei Me

I have had Hawaii on my brain big time lately. Leave it to OPI to know just what I need! Their Hawaii collection came out in impeccable timing. Of course I bought multiple colors, but I wanted to share this one with you first. I love how versatile the color is with my wardrobe and it's leaving me craving some major beach time STAT! Like it?

Faux Tropics

Yesterday I saw a picture posted on Instagram that showed it was snowing in NYC. Is it true? Ugh. I hope not. I'm so over the cold! Nevertheless, NYC anytime w/ the bestie is a good idea. Definitely worth braving the chill!

Stay tuned for pics, stories, and travel advice from my trip to UAE & Qatar! I'm having such a wonderful time that "accidentally'' missing my flight doesn't sound like a bad idea. Shhhh...

Sabo Skirt

A few months ago, I discovered Sabo Skirt on Instagram. I immediately became obsessed with the account and followed it closely.

As my birthday approached, I thought it was time to treat myself, so I got on their website to order myself a little something. Not only is it super affordable, it comes in a very timely matter, especially considering it ships from Australia!

Unfortunately this shirt dress I'm wearing is no longer available :(  BUT the ribcage ring I'm wearing is and its on sale!!

I plan to order again from them soon and hope that you take my advice and check them out! Do you like what I got?

Bring on Spring

Thank goodness it's spring! Can I get a witness?!

It's hard to believe that it was only 3 weeks ago that I was in New York and freezing my buns off.

I wore this look to Times Square for a bit of shopping and a late dinner with din. I sincerely hope that I don't have to bundle like this again for a very long time! Bring on spring fashion!
