Don't Be Shy

I tend to be an all or nothing kind of girl. Life is too short to be overly cautious, especially when it comes to my hair. If I'm gonna make a change, chances are, I'm doing it big!

As you already saw, I got my hair cut by Chloe a couple days ago. Although I've been loving every second of my cut, I felt a deep urgency to change my color too. After all, I've been a brunette for over a year, which I'll equate to dog years. That's a long time people!

I knew to look no further than the one and only Sharon Gause. Some may assume I'm partial because she's my mother, but that would be ludicrous. I know talent, and this lady has it! She had her work cut out for her because my hair always has crazy things going on. Nonetheless, she got me blonded to perfection. I'm swooning over my new cut/color combo! Aren't you?

My Vignette

I've had a stir in me lately, to let my creativity and art flow. I wanted to capture a vintage feeling in the photos I took. Notice, the headpiece that is worn in some of the photos, is the same one that I made for the Black Swan photo shoot I did. Please enjoy my 1920's inspired shoot!

Hot Chocolate

In all this winter chill, I thought I deserved a treat. As much as I love calorie loaded treats, I'm trying to put those days behind me.

After enjoying a couple months of a deep sultry red color, I was ready to feel like me again. And what goes better with a cold winter day then some hot chocolate?!  After all, changing your hair is a treat that is always calorie free ;)

Passionately

I'm obsessed with changing my look! You only get one life to live, so why not make it an exciting and thrilling one?! I personally can't understand why a girl would never want more than a "trim", or never change her color. That is the opposite of me!

At the start of the year I had a purple ombré. It was definitely a fun look, but as usual, I became bored, and decided I needed to be blonde. Well, my blonde had run its course, and I was ready to deepen my color once again. I took a brief pit stop at pink because of my charitable spirit, but I had my heart set on one particular shade. Red violet. It is the only color I have not tried ( besides, green or yellow...but let's not get crazy! ).

I'm absolutely loving this new hue on me! I feel like a new woman. More daring. More passionate.

Vintage Glamour

Sometimes I wish I could travel back in time, where pin curls, pearls, and fabulousness was part of every day life, for every woman. Since I can't, I thought it fun to bring the era to me! Enjoy!

Pink Panther

Okay! As promised, here is another creative shoot

I have a bit of a knack for sleuthing and de[CODE]ing, so I thought it suitable to bring out my inner P.I.! I'm really digging the pink 'fro look, and it was fun to wear out later for a sensible dinner ;)

There's A New Bombshell In Town

My friend Miel came to me yesterday looking for a big change, so change is what we gave her! With hair that had grazed her waist, she was looking for her own version of "the chop"! Off those locks came, and she was looking fabulous, but as you know, no transformation is complete without a fresh color!

Hot off the press with her new cut from me, I sent her to my mom, Sharon Gause, at Sharon's Hair Studio. She is a color educator for Matrix/Logics, and this lady knows her stuff! She enriched Miel's base color and melted it out lighter through the ends.

Below are the stages of Miel's transformation. Can we say bombshell?!

"The Chop", "The Karlie", "The Sharon"

My mom had been growing her hair out from a very short cut for the past 4 years and was getting an urge to switch things up. Waiting anxiously for the perfect inspiring style, there could have been no better timing for the discovery that was made.

Supermodel Karlie Kloss recently cut off her flowing locks into a hot little bob! The January issue of Vogue called it the "cut of the moment" while The NewYork Times deemed it "the haircut of the year". Many call this 'do "the chop" while others call it "the Karlie". Whatever you want to call it, I will tell you that I love it, and so did my mom!

Without hesitation, she had me sever her length, and donated it to Locks of Love<3 Below you can see the inspiration and the transformation!
