Fashion SOULstice

Last month I was asked by the owners of Charbon Salon to be one of their models for Fashion SOULstice. 'No' wasn't even an option for me.

Fashion SOULstice is a charity event in which the proceeds go to benefit the victims of human trafficking. Not only was I excited to give my time to help this cause, but as a bonus, I knew I was going to be styled by some of the best artists I've ever worked with! So basically, pretty hair + runway show + good cause = no brainer!

The collection that Charbon put together was bohemian/gypsy/free spirit. The hair was full of lots of texture and braids and our wardrobe was styled by Feather and Skull.

Feather and Skull is a Seattle jewelry designer that also refurbishes clothing and boots. I loved the shorts I wore so much that I bought them from her after the show.

Here, the models are pictured with Noel, the designer behind Feather and Skull.

Pictured above, Melissa, a colorist at Charbon, is putting some finishing touches on one of the models. Below, Chloe, a Charbon stylist, is prepping her model's hair for braids.

Rayna, stylist at Charbon, is backcombing my hair to get it nice and full and wild!

The show was sold out and a great success! Thanks for checking it out!
